Over two days, we’ll explore some of the Lake District’s most loved locations. Our walks take us around the tranquil shores of Buttermere and Derwentwater, where peaceful lakeside paths, rolling hills, and stunning reflections create a truly calming experience. We’ll also enjoy a gentle hike up Latrigg, a small but rewarding fell that offers panoramic views over Keswick and the surrounding mountains—proof that you don’t need to go high to get incredible scenery. All hikes are easy and accessible, with plenty of time to enjoy the views, take photos, and move at a comfortable pace. As always, the walks are fully guided, so you can relax and focus on enjoying the landscape while we take care of the route and logistics. To make the experience seamless and stress-free, accommodation is included in the price, giving you a comfortable place to rest and recharge after a day outdoors. Evenings are relaxed and social, offering a chance to unwind, share stories from the trail, and soak up the welcoming atmosphere of the Lake District. Whether you’re new to hiking or simply looking for a gentle adventure in a breathtaking setting, this 2-day Lake District trip offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and connection. All our guided walks include return transport from a pick up location. We pick you up in a specific town/city, travel together to the hiking destination, complete the guided route, and return to the starting point afterwards.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be fair and transparent while ensuring our trips can operate smoothly. Payment for the tour is a fundamental part of the tour’s income and contributes to the overall cost of equipment, running costs, staffing, administration, etc. As the Company will have incurred the majority of its costs before the tour starts, we need to impose cancellation charges to cover these costs. --Participant Cancellations-- * Cancellations made 21 days or more before the trip start date will receive a full refund. * Cancellations made 14–20 days before the trip start date will receive a 50% refund. * Cancellations made less than 14 days before the trip start date are non-refundable, as accommodation and logistics will already be confirmed. These cancellations cannot be done online and should be done in writing to contact@celticridgewalks.co.uk * No refunds will be issued for late arrival, early departure, or non-attendance. --Transfers-- * Booking transfers to another person may be possible, subject to accommodation provider approval and notification at least 7 days before the trip start date. --Weather, Safety & Changes-- * Trips will operate in most weather conditions. However, if conditions are unsafe, Celtic Ridge Walks reserves the right to adjust the route, reschedule, or cancel the trip. * If Celtic Ridge Walks cancels a trip, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date. --Minimum Numbers-- * Some trips require a minimum number of participants. If this number is not met, we may cancel the trip and offer a full refund or alternative date. --Participant Responsibility-- * Participants must arrive on time at the designated pickup location and be suitably equipped. * Missed pickups or failure to meet basic safety requirements are non-refundable. --Liability-- * Hiking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks. * Celtic Ridge Walks accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury unless caused by our proven negligence. * Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. --Photography & Marketing-- * Photos and videos may be taken during trips for promotional purposes. * If you do not wish to appear in marketing materials, please inform us before the trip.
